South Central Regional Championships - Page 2

Well that sucked a lot..Folks..If your at home sick with a cough and a burning in your chest dont just think its a cold. I had a very mild heart attack and had to get a heart cath and a stint. Had me a 90% blocked coronary artery. Kinda strange I felt it really bad right after the last post when I said I was home sick. Luckily I took an aspirin right before I went to ER and that might have saved me from more damage. It hit me hard at about 2:00pm on Thursday like somone hit me in my chest along with a burning pain. I let this go on a few days though before it got bad. Had know idea. So if any of yall ever get a feeling like that get to the Dr. I almost didnt...
Man I can tell a difference. Whats really weird is I can hear better. Think it was becasue I had a ringing in my ears a lot. Heck I just thought it was from listening and playing to much Rock back in my day..LOL
Amazing how fast they can do these things these days. Had the procedure done on Friday and was home 3 hours later. Now Im Bionic!!!

Wow! Sorry to hear about all this. Sure glad you went to the doc and caught it.

Wow, Scott - that's too bad but I'm glad you got to the ER soon enough that they were able to help you. It's hard to believe that you were having the heart attack as we were talking!! Gee, I hope I don't have that effect on anyone else!! LOL!!

Really, don't worry about the SC standings now, wait until you feel like working on it. Your health comes first and I for one know what's going and I can wait!! I'm sure the other SC pilots will too.

What the heck is going on Scott? Dang'it, I would have never thought!!! So what are the DR's saying now?

ouch - you are way too young for that - am 37 and hav'nt had physical in 10 yrs - plus my really good diet and physic.

How old are you Scott? I went many years without proper medical care. Never sick enough I guess. I have been seeing a doctor now for about three or four years. I had a cardioversion year and half ago after my daughter died. Heart got really irregular. Cardioversion is where they put me to sleep, shocked me with paddles stopping my heart and then it re-started again running in time. I now take blood thinner and baby asprin on doctors orders so as to prevent stroke. have blood work done every six weeks. All is good per doc and hope to live a while longer, especially since I found IMAC. I am 52 1/2 now. Hoping you don't have any other problems Scott.

Let's get it on in Fort Worth.

If you're only 39, I should be seriously worried about my health. I most certainly haven't been taking care of myself.

I'm extremely glad you caught it in time, it sounds like you're on the right track to a full recovery.

Scott glad to here your ok. I lost my Dad to heart problems a couple years ago. I too have to take a couple BP pills in the morning.
I'm 41 now, but not as old as............ as say like Boulder
