Well guys. 5 weeks of Chemo 24hrs a day with a little pump I've had to wear, and radiation therapy are finally done. Will have a Cat Scan on thursday to see if the tumor is resectable or not from the first round of Tx. Hopefully will know the results quickly so we can decide our next move. Monica and I have plans to go to MD Anderson in Houston to continue the Tx. The surgury is about 6-7 hours long and takes a solid 6 weeks to recuperate from. This is only if the tumor is in a position where it has retracted from the blood vessels. I haven't had the energy to fly and sadly, the weather has been really nice the past 1.5 weeks. Want to say thank you again for all the prayers and thoughts. Just an update to keep everyone posted. Ed |

Ed, Thanks for the update. We are praying you get the results you want from your scan Thursday. We are only about an hour or so from MD Anderson so if there is anything we can do for you or your family please don't hesitate to call anytime. Kevin Braziel 281-827-4073 |

Ed, This is good news i hope you get the result needed from this round of chemo. We missed you at the contest but understand energy is tough to come by when you are knee deep in chemo. Take care and keep in touch. Jeramy |

Finally, after much nagging, we have an appointment at MD Anderson July 28, with a follow up appt July 31. This is when we will get the game plan from the true experts (some of these docs only deal with pancreatic cancer.) Until then, still don't have much energy and still haven't flown in 2 months. Just difficult to get excited about heading out to the field. Thanx for all the prayers!!!!!!! If you are in Houston my number is 806 239-5971 806 239-7195 is Monica's. Ed |
