That would be Andy coming back with my hatch after he ejected it and the pilot in a spin. I don't know why the screws coame out of one side. It was not damaged hardly at all and only took about 15 minutes to fix.

Did the ash tray survive?

Did he get credit for pilot and instrument pannel for that flight or was it prorated?

What happened to the top of his ball cap?

Did you go home with all the covering on your plane or did you have to do some PT covering?

What happened to the top of his ball cap? He paid for the convertible option.

Did you go home with all the covering on your plane or did you have to do some PT covering? All covering stayed on. Different plane than last year.

a freind of mine in Joplin. It's the plane I built - then sold to Andy before it was finnished - he sold it to Kyle then I got it back form him - all that and it never left my house - LOL.

My first covering job- its a 5 footer - I'm overall happy with it - the plane fly's waaaaay too good to be too petty over a few cosmetics, besides the hagar rash will catch up to it.

we'll have to fly each others - would love to fly that Godfrey.

So Dale, is the plane a Dalton 42% Extra 260 or 300?

My covering on the godfrey is a 5 footer as well it was my first the wings are totally done including servos linkages and programming. The elevators and stabs are totally done. The rudder engine cans choke and throttle is done as well. Have to cover the fuse install remaining components. And paint. Likely 3 to 4 weeks out with my limited time. That will give me 2 weeks practice before our contest

Thanks Dale. Seeings as how it takes me 1.5 yrs to build a plane, I may get a Dalton 300 ML later on in the fall and work on it thru the winter and next summer. That time-frame will give me 2 yrs on the 42% Aerotech Extra I got from Dean Nistetter which is about right for me and an airplane. However, I really like the way the Aerotech flys so who knows?

Does anyone know if the wing sheeting wood on the Dalton kits is "edge trued"?

Bobby

mine was'nt, that is kind of a tedious process but once you get started it goes pretty fast- the kits would $500 more if they did - LOL.

I was overall very impressed with the Dalton kit and that would most defeinitely be my first choice - If I wanted another extra that is. I have and Aerotech 300 in build process now - pretty much done except for a few items.
