what is the schedule for the basic class. I may be brave enough to give it a try.

Awesome Kevin,
Would love to have you come out. It does a body good!

Basic has 10 maneuvers they are listed below:
  1. A 45% up line (just that)
  2. A Split S with a 1/2 Roll (Which is a 1/2 Roll & 1/2 loop)
  3. A Hammerhead (Or Stall Turn)
  4. A Full Roll (Simple Aileron Roll)
  5. Teardrop with a 1/2 roll (Simply a 45% upline then you pull a loop till you are pointed in a downline where you do a 1/2 roll)
  6. Loop (Basic Loop)
  7. Shark's Tooth (which is simply a vertical upline then you pull to a 45% down line with a 1/2 roll)
  8. Reverse Half Cuban (Which is just a 45% up line -- then 1/2 roll -- then pull a loop so you end up level)
  9. Vertical Upline with 1/2 Roll (Just as it sounds)
  10. Vertical Downline with 2 turn spin (You just stall the plane and do two spins at idle)
Sounds tougher than it is.

Click Here for a video of the sequence

Click Here for the training link

Click Here for the Aristi (the written segment of the sequence)

Plus all this info is on our club site at the bottom of the page http://www.jetero.com/imac.htm

We'll have a blast and you have to fly in the Freestyle

Damon

Thanks for the info. However I wanted to get the schedule what times each class flies and how many times. Need to see what the time commitment is.

Kevin

I have a question about the stall turn. If the aircraft rolls a little bit because of the rudder needed to pull the nose around, and there's a partial roll by the pilot to correct the aircraft, this counts off right?

Kevin

Got it. I'm a little slow..............

Saturday we'll fly 4 to 6 Sequences depending on how many pilots and time constraint. We'll start early at 7:30 for pilots meeting and wheels up at 8am (The Goal)

Qualifying Round of FreeStyle will be around 5pmish

Sunday we'll fly 1-3 Sequences depending on time and entries. Then go into the Free Style Finals around 1pmish. Then wrap up with prizes and awards then go into the Hovering contest and TAG event. So if you are in a hurry you can be out of there around 1pmish if needed.

Hope this helps

Great Idea,
I'll work on combining the two and try to get it up on the Website www.Jetero.com shortly

Yes you are right.

Here is some info from the IMAC Site:

http://www.mini-iac.com/portals/0/Ed...iles/frame.htm

Judging Criteria:
• Must have line between figures (deduction is 1 point from each figure)
• Figure must be wind corrected (Except at the top of line in a stall)
• Altitude of start and finish horizontal lines may be different
• Entry radius and exit radius must be equal
• Up line and down line can be different and be any length
• Pivot in either direction.
• As the aircraft nears the point where it would stop climbing, it must pivot in a plane parallel to vertical.
• There must be no rotation around the pitch or roll axis.
• ½ point deduction per 5 degree deviation from wings level, track, vertical up line, vertical down line, horizontal entry, & horizontal exit
• ½ point deduction per 5 degree of pendulum after the hammer
• Any clearly visible downward slide before the pivot starts will zero the maneuver.

I can't believe I'm going to have to miss this one Damon!

But, since I ordered my raffle ticket already, at least I'll enjoy the new plane I'm going to win!!!

Great job on putting this event together and I'll see you in Benbrook in October

Officially 2 weeks away!

We have 51 pilot Pre-Registered and several Sponsors jumping on board. Looks like every registered pilot will get 2 prizes from the Pilot Raffle and some might Get 3.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

If Jack wins something, I think my trailer has enough room in it to store his winnings Well at least until I see him again! Jack is flying in KC this weekend and doing a great job... I'm still looking forward to flying in Huffman with the Jetero group. Damon, on the vinyl, I have 30 white, 15 black, 15 blue and will probably crank out 15 red or something like that... is there anything else you need?
