I went out to the event locale' (Jetero) yesterday to check it out and man they are ready for a HUGE crowd! They cleared an entire pasture for parking and pits.

I've only made it to one fun fly since Joe Nall...... it's high time to have a '3 day bender'!

Basically it is flat.

Seriously, the field is oriented North and South. Lots of nice grass and plenty of parking, rest rooms, Not porta pottys', kitchen, covered pavilion, electricity, cold drinks, tables, chairs, etc.

Bring your pop ups if you have them and your lawn chairs. If you have a table you can bring please do so as the existing ones will fill up fast. Check the club website www.jetero.com for a map to the field. Hotels nearby in Dayton to the East or Atascosita to the West, both on Hwy 1960.

I'm just about ready for this one. Just need to clean the plane and I have a brand new canopy to sit under and watch the good pilots do their thing.

This time of year wind out of the South usually. Forecast calls for SE about 8 mph so we'll be flying a left to right pattern (until the forecast changes).

Temp around 88 degrees and partly cloudy.
Should be an AWESOME weekend!

Ben,
I'm with you. I love to watch the talented guys! Amazing stuff.

Guys bring your EZ UP's and shade canopies as well as some bug spray.

We have made arragements to have the field sparyed Thursday or Friday but not sure how much that will help. It has been pretty wet around here.

6 days and counting!

Are we still going to be able to come down Friday and fly at the field?

Sure the field will be open Friday for open flying. I'll be in and out but should be there.

So if you want to come early we'll have some fun. I might put you to work though.

I can help a little, I don't mind. I was just curious if we can be out there if the field is sprayed.

Damon, I plan on arriving between noon and 1:00p on friday. First thing will be to set the sound system up to provide some tunes. It looks like it is going to be a major blowout and I am looking forward to the weekend. Take care and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Greg, what format do you need the Freestyle music in?
