Try a used one. That could be a lot cheaper.

Yeah, but I love building, and I like when I get lots of stuff from the UPS man. Its like christmas . But if I can find a nice used one for a good price, I'll pick it up (if I have the $$$).

You can fly my plane Greg. I think you flew it before at the Capi last year. We'll be practicing this Sunday near Hazleton (well needed.....have two flights on the plane since Farview ) so you're welcome to come up and get some more stick time.

Mark, if I make it, I look forward to talking to you about the build details of your Yak. I am planning on building one this winter.

Vinny,

Don't forget about Albert as well. If I remember correctly, he did Eddie's Yak. I seem to remember seeing somewhere that Ty is also in the process of doing one for someone with the stab mods using blind nuts instead of the plastic "L" brackets like most others are using on the Extra's

I just added an antirotation dowel in my stabs in addition to the L bracket and the screw through the stab tube. The root rib works well also.

What ever you need to know, I'd be happy to help Vinny. I think there are a few build thread over on RCU in the Carden section as well.

That's exactly what everyone is doing. There is a thread on Fg somewhere by a builder that is doing that to everyone he builds for others and it has great descriptions on the exact procedure

I came across it back when you were covering the Cap for me. Speaking of the Cap, Figure on the middle of Sept when I give it back to you to get the engine, cans and cowl done.
