I'll keep it in mind.

Any reason you are going to 100cc and not just getting a new 40%?

less components to worry about/fail, easier to transport, flies pretty good,

overall, cheaper (college)

You can only make it look easy for so long..... then you suddenly find that it did have an expiration date. Sorry to hear, I did like the red bull scheme.

Sorry to hear about that Scott! I am leaving next weekend so I wanted to say see you later next year unless you come down to the Atlanta Huckfest! Tell your dad the same and I will send you an email when I get settled.
Good luck in school this year!

Sorry to hear about your Yak Scott. If you change your mind, you're welcome to fly my plane. We'd love to have you.

At this point, I'd do the math on going 100cc next year. Since you have the motor already (which isn't as valuable on the used market since the 170 came out) and a 100cc usually same about the same radio gear, all you need is the airframe. Just make the rudder removable and you can just use the Explorer for the weekday trips to the local field with no need to bother with the trailer.

Hope you get back up and going soon.

Don't forget that the field is open for practice on Friday. Also, you are permitted to leave your trailers overnight.

The weather says 50% showers Saturday and Sunday with mixed partly sunny. We may have to work around this, but could be worse.

Looking at the weather, I'm not sure if we are going to make the trip down at this point. Hopefully the forecast changes. At the fuel cost around $200, we might just bail if the weather doesnt look like its going to turn around.
