Great day at the field!!!!

Southern Indiana 29th of December, 60 degrees 5-10 mph winds most of the day. 10:00am this morning Matt (maeu2003) showed up we finished loading the truck and headed to the field. Rick (skydiver) was already there. Total of 7 planes, one portable grill, sunshine, friendship and great flying. We were at the field until it was starting to get dark.

Flip 3D
1/4 scale clipped wing cub
30% AM Yak

It was a maiden for the Flip, second day on the Panther, and my first time to actually hover a gasser.

Today was one of the best days of the year at the home field. Of course, there is no compairing with any of the events attended.

I actually got lucky with this schedule. I think someone screwed up. LOL I ended up with an 8 day stretch that only had 3 backup shifts. The nice part is that I didn't get shorted any shifts. They just grouped them at the beginning of the first week and the end of the second. I have been loving it. I don't have another shift on station until Wednesday. If the weather holds out I will be doing more flying. Monday maeu2003, skydiver and myself will be going to the Numb Thumbs fly-in in Elizabethtown KY. Going to start the year out right traveling to some events.
