Thanks Andrew I only clean it when I know you are coming over. You should see it now. BTW, your shop is pretty clean also if I remember correctly. I wish I had yours. I need more space. My shop is actually mainly in the garage now. Thats where the IMAC planes are. I can't fit a 40%er in the shop that's in the house.

Man, you guys are ganging up on my here. Ask the Chicago gang from D5 about trying to rearrange the allen wrenches in my tool box. They tried it at the Nats a few years ago. The problem they found was each hole is sized for the allen wrench that goes in it. They were determined to mess with me, so they just turned my box around each time I flew. In fact Andrew was in on that also. He called for me one time at the Nats that year, and when he brought my plane back to the pits while I was turning my radio back into the impound he was asked by the trouble makers to turn my box around and he did. It was pretty funny. I guess you would have to know me to understand why that was so funny, but those were good times.

Now Ken, this year will be your first Nats...right? Maybe I will have to find something to raise your blood pressure a little bit. HeHe.

Sure is, but I bet I can think of something. I have 7 months to figure it out. Don't forget, we'll be on the same flight line. We won't be flying at the same time though. One of us will be flying in the morning and the other will be flying in the afternoon. We could team up if necessary. That would work out good actually.

Mike,
Great shop, is that a home made Machinests (sp?) tool box on the bench? I really like the time you put into makeing the slots for the wall warts to plug into, that is my favorite in the shop!
Nice job.
How do you glue up your wing panels for the 40% planes if they won't fit into the shop?

OK, I'm in. With my new house came a 2800 sq ft unfinished basement that is all mine. I have an area just for sporting goods, an area just for RC stuff, an area with a couple of couches, big screen TV, & fully stocked fridge, It will take me years to run out of space for my RC stuff.

40% wings will fit just fine, I just can't fit an asswmbled 40% fuse in the shop. Big stuff happens in the garage.

I'm glad you like the wall wart rack. I thought about that thing for about 10 years before I finally made it.

My machinests tool box is not homemade. I have wanted one for as far back as I can remember. A couple of years ago I went into the John Deere dealership in my town, and saw this box sitting by the window with a for sale sign on it. It was brand new never used. The guy only wanted a hundred bucks for it. I was blown away by the price, I had to ask him again to make sure. Then I gave him the money and left with the box before he changed his mind.
