Talking Plane Meets Paintballs

Doug Here,
Our club came up with the idea of shooting at planes with paintball guns to raise money for charity. Well, we concluded after doing some testing that SPADs will hold up under the paintballs, unless you are 2 feet in front of it. And as anyone could tell you, the balsa trainder did not survivie. From 40 feet, the paintballs went right through the hardwood side of the plane. Enough blabering from me, here are the pics.

You can hit a plane like that shot after shot with a paintball gun, it isnt hard, I probably have wasted 50 2000 round cases in my life and I used to be awsome at it.

But You probably couldnt do anything with the gun in the picture, that thing well........ I hope u had better guns.

and I sure hope you shot at it while it was flying because thinking that is dangerous or something, wow if thats dangerous to some people then oh I am not even going to go there. that would be pitiful.

Lol I used one of my planes at a duck shoot to try and get them up on the wing. My mate thought it would be funny to take a pot shot at my plane with a 12 gauge!! Thankfully I didnt fly it close to his position cause I sorta thought he would try something like that!! Of course he missed it. Thankfully dont think it would survice after seeing what a paintball gun does to em.

maybe I'll try that with my potato gun, that thing would just be a cloud of balsa, but it would be cool

That wasn't what I was using. I have a Kingman Spyder Imagine. We don't know yet If we are going to try it with some SPADs in the air, We just wanted to see how much damage we could cause on a wooden plane.
