Folks, I would like to personally thank everyone for their contributions to the site this past few months, we couldn't have done it without you. I would like to thank Wizard as well for his kick-ass work on the Giant Jargon Dictionary. Have you guys seen the list? Simply stellar, and great timing to boot. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it brings me great pleasure to announce our latest inductee into The FlyingGiants Hall of Fame/Shame, 3dubya! Good job Tony, and even better job to your hench men for getting this thing the press it deserves!

Details: Folks, meet our long time friend Tony D who hails from someplace called Stralya. Tony is a master tail basher from way back, and recently sent in this video of him trying wringing out a trainer in a way that few have ever seen. Tony's herd consists of 40% big birds, profiles, assorted foam, and an extensive collection of Dire Straits albums - but the trainer holds a special place in his heart. Big props to Tony's campaign staff and cronies for making this award possible. Definite HOF material.

Epic week for awards folks!

Kevin Tran has received the coveted "super huck" award for his work with the 2006 TAS points standings. Big props to this dude, he did the community a huge service with his work.

Okay guys, been a few months since we've handed out some awards, so here we go..

First off, and my favorite by far -- Eddie Weeks, designer of many uber-technofied flying machines has come up with the first fully reversible VPP system for giant scale gas models. While VP and constant speed is still in it's infancy, Eddie has definately led the charge and has brought some great new technology to our hobby. Eddie gets the much coveted "Super Huck" award for his contributions to our community.

That's not all.. This past week we had three folks who brought back some incredible action from the 2006 Don Lowe Masters in form of photos, writeups, and mass quantities of videos for all of our enjoyment. These guys were in no way committed to do this for us, but wanted to share their excitement and passion of the hobby with the rest of the community - and that's what it's all about folks. I would like to again, thank Jack "BigbirdOne", John "TheTank", and Kevin "SukhoiKid" for all they did for us this past weekend in Greenville. Super Hucks all the way around.
