Aircraftinternational.com Anyone heard of these guys? They have a fully built up 43 % edge 540( sheeted foam core wing and stab) going for $1200.00 It is a big ass plane ready for fill and paint. Compared to a Carden kit this seems to be a potentially good route. Course Dalton and Carden have a great reputation and a popular following. Leaves you to wonder if inflated prices are due to brand name???????????? Kind of risky spending the $$$$$$$$$$$ on a lesser known airframe though. I would hate to invest just to have a hangar queen. Any one heard about these ARC's????????? Any info would be of great interest. Just for a comparison WWW.aircraftinternational sells all 3W products as well. They would have to be reputable. You'd think. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM. could be something good here. I am in Canada and apparently this ARC is built in Ontario. Thanks |

Looks like a nice plane, so I bought the 43% for my 3W 200, but I work overseas so I haven't seen it yet. I bought it cause it's just the right size for that motor, and I didn't have an Edge in the fleet. My "Builder" who is going to do the finish work has received it and says it's real nice. I figure for $1349 I can't be too bad!!! Looks like pretty straightforward construction, only concern I have is the weight, so we are going to look at that real close. Tom |

Not with the airframe but AI are for certain one of the RC top shots in the USA. Gerhard is an easy enough guy to talk with so pick up the horn and ask him. He strikes me as a straight shooter and knows what he's talking about. Kiwi |

Dennis, you're right, I think the thread was about their Ultimate, but for the Price I figured I would take a chance, I can always modify it I guess. I will report on it if I EVER get back to the states and get to look at it. Tom |

i'm the one who initially asked about the ultimate...someone said thay had heard of some failures.(tail i beileve) i don't rememebr the exact words nor could i verify the supposed problem. i didn't get it because i just decided not to do an ultimate, not because of any problems, i'd imagine you could get a good look at the construction before covering and fix anything that looked off, price seemed good too.
