Flying Giants Magazine??

Hey, you guys that run the show here, you know who you are. Have you ever thought of calling the likes of Model Airplane News or Fly RC magazines and see if they would be interested in publishing a magazine dedicated strictly to GAS planes?? I need some bedtime reading here.
You guys could do the reviews section!!

I know I'd subscribe

I would buy a magazine dedicated to Giant Scale & Gas.

This is a gerat idea with a lot of potential. Taylor Collins from IMAA is the editor for Highflight. A Great magazine without all the ads. It would be brilliant if Flyinggiants and IMAA could collaborate to make something even better that could benefit both groups. Maybe I'll email him to see what he says.

I think it would be too much work. I favor the online event coverage, instant updates. Don't have to wait for editing and publishing..

However, if there was an FG magazine, i'd def. have a subscription!!

magazines are not money makers.....but do suck up alot of money.

yes, you are right....if you don't have advertisements inside. Highflight is not a money maker (in fact the opposite) and that's partly what makes it good. But if you can get the expertise of two organizations together you may be able to get it to work (even without too much advertising inside).

Let there be adds, lots of them. Alot of the parts/stuff I use were found in the adds I've come across while paging through the magazines. If it wasn't for the adds, I wouldn't know about them, and that would make me sad.
