I think the funniest thing in the world is people who try to play their music really loud and their system sucks and it is full of distortion. I always have to laugh when I'm sitting at a stop light and some guy pulls up next to me and all you hear is snap-crackle-pop coming out of his car. If my stereo sounded that bad I wouldn't even turn it on.

my one in my car isnt too great, but i never put it to distortion point. Keep it loud but actually sounding crisp. Shame i blew the sub up the other week (cone came off!!! held in with glue atm) so base has to be alllll the way down or it sounds horrible.

I should be getting me a minivan here in the next couple of weeks and I'm going to put my stereo back in it. I'll have 2 sets of 5.25 components up front, probably some 6x9's in the rear and I'll need to find me a pair of 10's or a twelve that I can keep in a small box in the back. Clarion deck with Soundstream amps/components. Hopefully the components are still good, they are a couple of years old but have been in their box in storage...so we'll see how they sound.
