Default How do you put the shine on your planes?

OK guy's been flying for awhile and miss the look of when the plane had that glossy covering. I want to know what you guys use to wax up your planes.

I use Simple Green to get the black goo off, and then go over it again with Cinch. Works pretty good. Scatching the covering is what dulls the heck out of a model IMO. Use a sock when running an iron across the thing.

I've been using microfiber cloth to clean my planes. When I first started in the hobby I used paper towles. This is the worst thing for planes. It scratches the heck out of them.

Have any of you guys used pledge? I'm concerned that it may hurt the covering over time. Any long term affects with using pledge or a wax? I have been using McGuires quick detail. But it's not a wax.

I use windex. Before and after applying decals, and getting exhuast off of the plane.
