Mad respect for the builders out there, they are the most passionate guys in the hobby, and at the end of the day, work for considerably low wages. I absolutely respect these guys and the work they do. Dave Jones, Huffy, Russo, AJ, Kenny, Walt, and others all have the passion, and I'm glad they are in the game, and proud of the work they, and all builders do. Turnkey ARF's and I'll have a few projects for you.

I have considered buiding for others quite a few times. The thought is usually fueled by someone asking me to build for them. I have a full time job and a family. I have made up my mind that I will only build for myself and my son when the time comes. You just never know what is going to come up in life that will make you have to take a break from building. I don't think too many customers would understand that. I find it a lot easier and fun to build my own stuff. There are a lot of things that I do in a build that are very time consuming, and it would be very hard to charge a customer for that stuff in a manner that would make it worth while. If you decide to go through with this, good luck to you. It will be intersting to see how long you stick with it. This is a job that very few are actually cut out for. Kudos to those who actually do it.

A little off topic but what about a kit manufacturing business? I was thinking of having maybe two designs and using foam core balsa sheeted wings. Get the wings and maybe glass parts made in china and have the rest of the kit made here.
