Help! Carpenter in the College Station, Waco, Houston Area

Does anyone know of a good carpenter in the College Station, Waco, or Houston area?

I'm looking for someone to build a straight and true workbench for me. I mean, straight and true to sheet wings on to, which means no warps or imperfections and it needs to be able to handle a couple hundred pounds and remain that way.

Ben,

How much do you have to spend? I've got something that you can build (kit) and it will hold 2000lbs.

Well, I'm going to save up for it, but I don't really want to spend over $500.

Yeah, I'm moving to College Station in less than a month so I'd prefer someone in central TX or in the Houston area.

500 bucks? Buy a bathroom vanity from home depot, has cupboards (storage etc) and throw a piece a heavy glass on top, or laminate a couple of 3/4 inch pieces of mdf together and throw that on there

Ben,

Get this when your ready, they deliver to your Door, holds 2000lbs, dead straight.
Get the Large Leg set and the 30" X 96" Maple Top and put it together, it's sweet.

Nice, but does it have anything going across the top?

Ben,

Under the Maple top is just the 4"X4" Steel Legs lagged bolted to the Top. When you laminate a Wing, one set goes over the two legs on the LH side and one goes on the right hand side. You could put 400lbs on each end easy. You can also take it a part if you move. When building a fuse side, I purchased a 4X8 sheet of MDF Board and had Home Depot rip it to my width for the Table top, super smooth and perfect for layouts.
