I bought one. After a few emails with the guy it seems he makes a lot of smaller planes in a factory in china, ships them to the Chicago area and then sells through ebay. I think I bought the first one at $199. He has excellent feedback so I though I'd try.
The quality is good for the price. I have to admit I was really worried. After reading the ultra RC yak thread I compared all weights. All airframe components are with in 3 oz of the yak or LESS that the yak components.
I am going to do a lot of reinforcing on the fuselage. There really isn't anything there for support. It has a sliding wing tube that can be adjusted for CG changes. It is also canister ready!
The major concerns I have are the weak fuselage sides and the sheer ribbing between spars. The grain is running the wrong way. I dont mind doing the mods. I just think of it as more of a kit than your standard ARF. For the price I dont mind. I'm setting mine up with equipment that will be ready when I progress on to the next gasser. This is my first.

I am departing from my love. Due to my job loss, it has become an unaffordable privilege to continue with the project. It is complete but I cannot afford to put it up in the air anymore and have a mishap. It would be very irresponsible without employment. But if it does not sell, I'll fly it so it won't go on auction again! I've been dying to put it up but it might cost me a family... It has not been flown yet so it is an RTF!!! I have been in the hobby for over 45yrs. I have almost flown anything that can be put up to fly/shoot. I am an excellent builder with an overly meticulous disorder. I am a Sr. Elec. Eng. I'VE SOLD ALMOST ALL MY COLLECTION OF ENGINES AND AIRPLANES. NOT ONE DISSATISFIED BUYER. I WILL PROVIDE REFERENCES. All this in case that the quality is in question. I will not crate so it is a local (within MA , NH, CT, RI or ~100 miles) sale. Extended distances up to 3hrs travel are negotiable.

This plane has been designed for 3D and surfaces are larger than the stock set up. All surface areas (rudder specially), have been re-calculated and increased for more efficiency on low airflow; however, by changing to low rates it will be docile for Aerobatics. Rudder has almost equal influence above and below the thrust line almost eliminating rudder coupling, albeit, torque. Ailerons and elevators have the maximum attainable deflection.This aircraft has all new equipment except for the power plant. ALL THE DIGITAL SERVOS HAVE BEEN PROGRAMMED AND COMPENSATED FOR NULL NEUTRAL USING THE HITEC HFP-10 PROGRAMMER. I CAN INCLUDE THE PROGRAMMER FOR A REASONABLE OFFER. This eliminates servo currents due to mis-matched throws in either direction. The kit calls for 80-100cc. I installed a 3W 120cc. for power. This provides ~2:1 ratio on the power/thrust parameter. I think this is a great deal, 36% Aeroworks 540 with new covering and paint as seen in pic $600. Let me know if anyone wants to see more pics
