After 2 years of waiting I finally got my Pitts python... But it's missing the cowling, canopy, bottom right wing, top right wing, top wing tube, the manual... Let's see how they're going to deal with that....

Sounds like a box got lost in shipping to me. A phone call to Aerotech to find out how the parts are packaged should answer that question. Good luck and where's the pics???

Hello, The plane sent was complete Pitts Python ARF. Nothing less. See if the box has been opened by maybe the shipper prior to you recieveing the box. I have no control over the company you had pick up the kit. We will assist in whatever way possible. Regards Aerotech |

I'm sure the Fedex guy in Iceland was looking for cowling, canopy, bottom right wing, top right wing, top wing tube, and the manual for an Aerotech.

John the box had been opened in customs to try to find the invoice. The invoice stated that there is only one box, and John also told me that it was only one box. I highly doubt that someone "stole" the missing parts.... They just weren't there to begin with |

Hello, The box was complete period. We have sent out alot of ARF's and nothing was missing like you are claiming. Please call the carrier you arranged and have it looked into. We will do what we can, but our hands are tied until you have the carrier look into it. Regards Aerotech |

Yes, I'm sorry John, I'm not bashing you, I just want this cleared up asap. I am contacting the shipping company. The inner box had been cut, a big square had been cut in the box and marked "opened by customs". I find this highly suspicious because the customs in Iceland don't do this. I will take a picture of it for you guys...

We have checked, and neither the customs in America nor the customs in Iceland use this method when checking shipment contents. They also use marked tape, not felt-tip pens.

Man, THAT sucks ! Can't you make an insurance claim to cover ? I've come home from work before to find three LARGE boxes of plane sitting on an open porch courtesy UPS. Amazingly enough it was still all there. |
