I think most people in these forums are forgiving...If he were to show back up and attempt to make things right..and apologize for being bogus..I would consider giving him a second chance. The fact that he is still lurking and not doing anything about it tells me this is not going to happen. What is really sad, is this guy is going to have a permanently tarnished reputation in a small community of RC pilots. He could have been one of the greats as he had a good product. He chose to do the wrong thing and isnt even man enough to admit his screw ups..

I purchased a 35% yak from him this time last year and although I never built the kit (and sold it) the quality of the kit looked good. What causes someone to go from good business man to a complete flake inside of a year. Especially in a community of people who stay so closely connected.

Unfortunately there's a lot more that went on than just what shows up on theses threads. A LOT MORE. Fact is, those that know more of this "stuff" wouldn't give him another chance if he had a signed affidavit from the Pope. It's just amazing how long all this went on.

Dear Dennis and Caroline

My son and I are putting together a project for his 8th grade science fair. Or project is on how an airplane flies and all of the aerodynamics behind control flight. I was wondering if your great company could help us with some model airplane parts for our exhibit. My son, Johnny Jr. loves model airplanes and wanted me to contact you. What we need are 17 - 35% Edge cowls, 8 - 40% canopies for the 330 Extra and 2 - cowls for the 40% 260 Extra. We are willing to pay for these items or maybe we can work out a trade for some homemade instrument panels.

Thank you again

I know Jimmy Jr. will get an "A".

John

No I mean Jim

Yea

It’s Jimmy Smith
