Let me know when you are coming to Tucson, I will make sure to come out with a few BIG models to play with. I believe there is a IMAA Scale Fly-In on the weekend of April 18, 19, 20th in Tucson at the TRCC (Tucson Radio Control Club). Should be around 50-60 modlers flying and there is also a swap-meet that Saturday morning. Shoot me an email; billhempel@cox.net Thanks, see you soon! Bill Hempel |

Hey Janez, Shoot me a PM when you can get your dates and times down, I'd like to get as many of our club members out to the field to meet you as possible. I'll have at least 2 planes with me, nothing big, just my knock around stuff. Hopefully the weather treats us right!!! Not sure how much drinkin' I'll do, but hopefully there'll be some flyin'!!

Thats about it for the Giant scale 3D flyers as far as we know, the rest are all IMAC or sport flyers. 2nd Chance is our local shop, and it is 10 min. from the feild. "The Lake" as we call it. And you gotta go to the RIVER WALK in downtown SA, good times, I hope you like Mexican food (TexMex). Peace ![]() MikeC3D

Thanks for the offer and I'll do that (can you give me a little more details where "The Lake" is). It's going to be my 5th trip to SA in the last 3 years, so while I've seen the Riverwalk I must say I'm on very good terms with the TexMex and Mexican cuisine (many would say too good). It's a dumb situation that I never thought of checking the RC scene in San Antonio, but none of my local friends knew anything about it, so I kinda forgot about it. This year I'll have a little more time after the convention in Las Vegas and I thought I'd ask for info here. Which turned out to be a pretty good idea. Boulder I'll contact you as soon as my schedule becomes better defined. I'm taking your advice and planning a day trip to Del Rio on a weekend. When I know exactly which weekends I'll be there I'll PM you the dates and we can agree on a day. I come from a country where some of the best beer is brewed mainly because of the quality of the water and the Barley that grows here (most of the crop is bought out by the Bavarian breweries). So for a Slovenian to travel half way around the world you need to come up with a better reason than beer .We have a long tradition in RC and modelling, although not so many large scale planes. There are a few, a few really good ones - both pilots and planes - but not nearly as much as in the states. Our models also tend to use different hardware, setups, motors and even fuselages, so the real reason I posted this and why I'll be driving to Del Rio is for the flying, the planes and the meeting of fellow RC enthusiast - drinking will be optional for those that are not driving . But the invitation still stands - sodas are drinks too, right?
