I am always amazed with you western guys, building planes on your wifes kitchen table.
Yea I said it, it's your wifes, it's not yours.
You might have paid for it, but you don't own it.
Well here is a mid-west "T.Bob" basement.
Let me explain the pictures to you
#1 is of course the most important thing in a basement is a well stocked frig.
#2 a shower every old house in the mid west has a shower, I'm not sure why but if catch on fire it's a plus.
#3 Tool chest with JR sticker a must.
#4 Winter projects
#5 Clean work area
#6 New project I need a DA 50 anyone got one cheep.

I use to build in basement, but taking the planes up thru stair case got old. So I decided to ad on to my garage straight back 24'

Eatin Onions and drinking Coors Lite, you got nothing else to look forward to. Out West we have garages, 14ft wide doors help cut down on hangar rash and if you catch on fire you zip out the big door and run through the sprinkler.

That's not a basement T-Bob. You have been beaten down by the women who own the house, If your single then you better get your feminine side in check. This post is toooo funny. Before we had a house with a basement, I worked on my are planes on the kitchen table, until the day I drilled two holes in it. My wife started having a kaniption. I told her it was two little holes and no one would ever see them and shut all that bitc-ing up. She did shut it up too, right after we got back from the furniture store. I still have that table and now use it in MY basement a.k.a. Man Land and continue to use it as a worktable. I guess I showed her I wear the pants in my family, I just let her pick out the one's I need to wear.

Man, my wife and I just purchased a new house that has a 1400 sq foot basement with a walkout. I have a boner. I can't wait to move in.
I'm not even sure what the rest of the house looks like, when we were searching, I went down to the basements of the houses she went everywhere else. I went into the houses we purchased basement and saw the giant promise land, noticed walk out... got wood, and waited to hear what the wife had to say about the rest of the house. After 30 minutes, she came down and said, Honey I really like this house, what do you think?" I snarled and said.. "It could work for me" (never let them know your real feelings!)

Meanwhile inside I was screaming.. HELL YEA!! SUPER MAN CAVE COMING!! BUILDING AREA, SANDING AND WOOD WORKING ROOM, COUCH WITH FLATSCREEN, IF I INSTALL A BATHROOM, I NEVER HAVE TO GO UPSTAIRS.

BASEMENTS RULE!!
