I have a couple of these on the way. What problems are you having with the rudder? Going to build a jig for this since I will be doing 3 total. ZDZ 160 Champ in one and maybe Super 160s in the other two.

Just getting blow back over the rudder, and i did not install the rudder assembly correct so I got with a buddy and re-did it and am going to try it out this weekend hopefully. NOthing bad with the design, I just think it is a lack of installing the rudder assembly correctly

Is there a silver stripe only on one wing panel? I really like the scheme.

Yeah, silver stripe on only one wing right now. Got it all flying and had only put one stripe on, then I had the trouble with the rudder so I figures it was more important to work out the rudder issue before worrying about the other stipe and other graphics I would like to put on.

Awesome plane man!! How did you get it to balance with the DA on the front? Everything in the nose?

Guess I just got lucky, I have a set of canisters on it which helped out. The fule tank is between the wing tube and front former. The batterises are just ahead of the wing tube. I have also opted to only run 1 9153 in each elevator and ran pull-pull cable for the rudder instead of a direct drive with the servos mounted in the tail. I also got a carbon tail whell from a buddy to put on the so that helped out with keeping the tail lights. Other then that The plane is built stock and Balanced right on the wing tube, which for me is a great spot for 3d flying as well as IMAC. Right now, I am in the process of putting another rudder servo in the plane because I am getting some blow back over the rudder and it is creating a slight problem for my type of flying. Other then that this plane flies great. I cannot wait until I go to my first contest with this plane, it should be a real winner.

John, I thank You very much for your kind words of encouragement. I am planning on going flying this weekend, was wondering if you would like to meet up and do some flying with me, I need to get some serious practice in before the amps contest.

Hello,

We flew Gregs Red Bull last Friday with a DA150 on cannisters. Man does it fly sweet. I hope he gets out to more events with it. I wanted to keep that one before we sent it out last year. Greg have fun with it...

Later

John
