Did anyone see it, or enjoy it? Surfin the various website, I saw a thread on RCG bitching that their coverage was not working and not even giving a thumbs up to the coverage FGTV was able to provide. The only comment about the coverage was not positive. The hoops Max and crew were jumping thought to keep the coverage going was remarkable. Wireless card transmitting from a valley. Everything runs off batteries. Batteries die, often. Killed 2 golf cars in 2 days running inverters off the BIG battereis. Very limited power outlets. Running extension cords under planes, limiting access. As soon as everything seems to be running, BAMO something happens, we're off line. As many as 4 people are on the case trying get it back, and we're back. You have any idea how bad your hands, arms, shoulders, eyes hurt after holding a camera for any great length of time, trying to follow something? WHEWWWWW! One person always watching the chat trying to ansewer questions and give feed back, one person on audio, one on the camera, one on camera, one spoting for airplanes and what is happening in the air and everyone wanted to check out the entire show. It was brutal. There were so many request for showing the planes flying. The problem is, a flying airplane was not showing up, the slow moving 3D stuff would show great, however low and slow 3D stuff was rare during the main hours of the show. FGTV wanted to bring you as much of the Joe Nall experence as possible, with the planes, the pilots, the demos, the interviews, the color commentary, all the cool stuff to buy and see, the goofy antics, just try to make you part of it. We wanted to bring you so much more and it would be nice to be able to do that in the future. There were several lessons learned. Max and crew have spent several thousands of dollars on equipment and now know they need to spend several thousands more to do a better broadcast. All wireless equipment, sat uplink, cameras, etc. I would like to see FGTV go on and continue and bring you R/C events like never before so you can see it live as it happens. You never know what is going to happen live and some real live stuff happened this year. It cost money, should FG spend the money? IMO YEA! You guys need to let FG know if you want more.

FG did a great job covering the Nall, I watched it quite a bit until I arrived Thursday. Definately awesome. I too would like to see other events covered by FGTV.

Hello, If anyone saw us on the FG webcast. Anything that happened was all camera tricks by Max. I admit nothing... Later John www.aerotech-rcmodels.com |

Exactly what John Said, What ever you guys saw can be denied and if there is physical proof of anything it is all circumstantial and will not hold up in any court of Law. Mike

One thing that all of us have to realize is that you can't make 100% of the people happy. When one slug says "I hated it" remember that for that one dude that was dissing, there were 500 people lovin it. I say FG TV stays and gets better and better! And in True FG fashion - everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, but If I ever meet the schlubb that though the FG coverage sucked... I'm gonna lay into him like 20,000 PSI jack hammer. ![]() Thank you and have a nice day.

Tony it was an absolute blast filming you, and doing what I could to help with the broadcast, including stepping in to chat with members viewing online. There were so many people that jumped in to help: Tony sometimes doing camera and commentary at once, everyone jumping in to do interviewing when Tony ran out of things to say (ok, that happened only like once), others taking over camera duty when someone's arm went numb. So many people helped out it was great! Why go through all the effort?? To share our awesome experience with all of you!! Was it worth it?? TOTALLY!! |

And a BIG thanks to Lori. What a spead she had. Thanks again for all the great food. I too thought your coverage was great. Even though I spent the week trying to stay away from you and Max with the mike and camera. |

Thanks FG! I loved the coverage! It had it's problems, but I enjoyed it thouroughly. Hopefully it will be better next time around, but from what I saw, it was pretty darn good! I don't think I will watch it next year as it would be hard for me to find internet access from the Nall! Because of your excellent coverage, I will be making every effort to go. 50% |
