Default Kirby Chamblis pic help

I am trying to find the pic where it looks like Kirby Chamblis is hovering his edge above the runway. A bunch of old grumpy Idiots at my Field have decided they want to ban foamies, helis and 3d. I want to put that pic up in the clubhouse or any other full scale hucking picture.
I am really ticked off about this as I am one of the only 3d pilots at my club and I fly a heli and foamies. I also do a heck of alot for the club, Noise police, Vice president, and I help out every chance I get.

I can't help you on the picture, but man that stinks about the ban? Will it go through? Very sorry to hear it!

I am not worried just upset. I'll fly the way I want and they can go .... themselves . I think they are on the warpath because more and more guys are trying it. More and more helis and 3d parkflyers show up every month. Seems like the guys who hate 3d are the ones that could never do it.

You're right about them not liking it because they can't do it, but I advise not to go rubbing any noses...probably not the way to accomplish what you want done. Ask them how many young people are showing up at the club and events now days and what they are interested in. The older generation can be responsible for wiping out the hobby, or they can ebrace a little change and perpetuate it. I've been flying over 20 years, and the days of sticks and kadets being the hottest thing at the field are over.

It doesn't hurt to wait until they are finished flying also.

You are probably correct. It seems it is always the same group of about 6. The same ones who are always asking how we can get new young people up LOL. I have a really good Friend who is the same age or older than these guys and we decided the best thing is for me to tell them exactly what I think. So I will, It will make me feel better.
I don't understand why some folks see the need to try and ruin other peoples fun. I own my own construction company so Sundays are the only full day I have to fly. I refuse to be dictated to on my day off.

I let an old Grumpy fly a 3D plane of mine if Florida, he ended up cutting up his Cub and made it pretty 3D really. He can now hover it solidly on the deck for 30 seconds... just to rub it in his buddies face. He enjoys flying airplanes. He is like 80 years old too... Be respectful whatever you do because some people grew up in an era where building a scale airplane was what they did. And they fly them scale too... Not everybody understands hovering on the runway preventing others from scale low fly by's. Its both ways you know...Good luck with it.
