Hey Pete: Everything is cool. The flying field is in good shape. We'll mark the edges of active runway.

Please remind folks that all proceeds from the "Junk Raffle" will go to a flyer who needs a new lung. So bring stuff that you've been saving for the next swap meet.

I need an attendace count Tuesday morning so I can order the Saturday night food.

For those coming Thursday, the flight rules are simple: no curfew, morning, evening or night. Okay to fly over the house. I do get when a plane breaks a branch off a tree.

Hi guys,

Another contest tidbit... I'm planning to charge $45 for the entry fee. Plus, if you're around for pizza & drinks on Friday evening, I'm asking that people throw $5 into the hat for that. It's a little higher fee than usual, but Jerry is going all out with the food -- you'll be fed well!!! We're not looking to make a profit on this, just cover the costs of the contest & food. Any excess money will be donated to a local R/C pilot who is need of a lung transplant.

If you think the fee will deter you from coming, please email me privately (pcastine@jetbroadband.com) and we'll work something out. I don't want anybody to bail because of the fee, but I don't want to leave the Huntsingers out-of-pocket for the contest either.
