Man, that sucks. Why do people have to be that way? Jerry should complain that the waste from thier horses stinks and makes him ill, and they should get rid of them...

Here you go Kent. Alex enjoying some lunch. Somebody get that boy a napkin.

Disclaimer: Kent was siting there mere minutes before Alex sat down, and Alex didn't have anything to drink.

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry to FWB and Big Jerry for my part in gettig his private airport shut down !!!! I'm sure this is something that did not just happen last weekend but last weekend was most likely the straw that broke the camel's back . I think it is High time we as IMAC fliers get together and put an end to Rolling circles !!! They are to big and are at the root of the problem for many clubs loosing flying fields ! If they want to make it hard on the unlimited class then make us do rolling loops or something like that because that would not go out very far and it would help with the size of the footprint we fly ,,,,,,,, yea , yea ,,,, the ACS score is supposed to fix this problem and I can tell you it ain't working ! As long as we have rollers we are going to have a problem ! Full scale can do rollers and rip props all day and no body will ever say a word about it because they are at an airport and the neighbors know there is nothing they can do about it so they just live with it but we can fix our planes where they don't even make a sound and let a neighbor see a model fly over the edge of their land and OH my god Call the law !!!!! If we loose every flying field in the SE because we flew over someone's else's land then there will not be any more IMAC because you will not have anywhere to have a contest ! So let's do away with rolling circles !!!!! Just my 2 cents worth !

Alright boys... you know what this means... grab yer chainsaws and replace those mufflers with megaphones... we got some (time consuming) tree trimming to do at the far corner of Big Jerry's RC Airport. Paybacks are a LOUD beotch!

Mark I agree. I love watching rollers, but they are causing problems.

OR bring the box back and if you are outside of it .... ZERO.

Sorry I missed it, this was one of the contests I really wanted to go to. That really sucks about Big Jerry's Airport.

That's an idea, but pretty subjective. Especially at the back of the box. Add rolls on the sides of looping elements like they have in pattern. Like an split s with 1 full roll on the loop.
I need to go see some pattern to see how the "box" is.

Same way they do in Pattern. Have a line judge or make it subjective and let the judge decide.

Right on Mark..

But what about the option for a CD to use an alternate sequence? Like if it is a known problem field with neighbors gettibng rollers over them, the CD can use sequences with rolling loops instead.. that way it would only affect the areas that would otherwise have problems, and places that have ample room could stay with the rollers.

Subjective judging is Bull S#%t it is not right to Zero a pilot whene he has not way of knowing if or when he is crossing the back line the only way is to put someone out in the field and where are you going to find that person at your local contest ? We are set up in IMAC with the 2 judges sitting behind the pilot so they see the same thing the pilot sees there is no way you can have any consistency when you are being subjective .
