maybe i'm the only one thinking this, maybe not, but is anything that we as the IMAC community can do for Jerry to get his airport opened back up for flying??

i mean if it means banning together and all going to an ashland city council meeting (jump in here delegate prizzy) and getting something passed or voted on or something??

i can't speak for everyone here, but i hate knowing that i was part of Jerry losing his airport and would like to do something for him to help get it back!!

Tony, that's very considerate of you. It seems that Jerry came to this decision as a form of appeasement to his neighbors. They complained, and he listened. Don't get this wrong, as Ty pointed out, Jerry did not loose his field. He doesn't fly gas planes. It's the rest of us giant scale guys (&FWB) that won't be flying there.

Jerry gave the field up without a fight. He told me the neighbors were more important than a flying field. A 120 glow motor makes as much noise as a gasser on cans and 3 blades. I can here planes from my house. The noise level is the same , only a pitch difference. As far as I am concerned, yall should expect this from me. All the neighbors can eat sh!t and die. THE HUNT IS ON FOR THE NEW HOME FIELD,WIFEY SAID SHE WOULD MOVE.

I got my spade in hand and will start digging the foundation at Fort Lee Airport. I know its a bit of a commute, but there are no neighbors to complain. Just keep an eye out for MPs with M16s.
