Default ButcherFest II: The Butcher Strikes Back!

It's coming...ButcherFest II: The Butcher Strikes Back!

May 31 & June 1 - Ashland, VA. Field will be open Friday for practice. Flying for all IMAC classes, plus unknown & Freestyle. IMAC by day, huckfest by night (including an improved short unknown for Sat after the IMAC ends for the day).

Big Jerry is stepping up the amenities at his Airport - we've heard talk of showers/bathhouse coming soon to the airport. The well's been dug, we just gotta tear FWB away from his Big Dawg Edge long enough to get it built! There'll also be plenty of food, so you won't need to go anywhere!

Pre-registration is already up at www.letsflyrc.com. Please be sure to pre-register so we'll have a good count for the food and can get started right away on Sat morning.

And finally, for those of you dying to know: Yes! the Romanian National Ice Bucket Dunking Champion will be returning this year! (right Mike? ...I hope...)

See you at Big Jerry's!!

Pete Castine, CD

Pete,

I just registered, but as I see it right now, I doubt if I'll compete. In it for fun and friendship, and with my work schedule right now, I have no time to practice. I'm in for open flying, and if needed, warm up pilot for Basic class.

As the month progresses, I may get practice time in. Hopefully I will and I can be in the lineup. I'll let you know.

Looking forward to it!!!

Jon

I am planning on attending this event. I heard everyone had a blast last year that attended.

GOOD NEWS!!! I was moping around the other day after looking at prices on rentals and U-Haul's so I could come to Butcherfest. I told my wife I was going to cancel because I could not afford to come with having to rent a vehicle and pay for gas (my allowance is my budget for modeling events). She gave in and told me I could use our mini-van as long as I didn't get it dirty. And, get this, she included my weekend at Butcherfest into our monthly budget and she is giving me gas and food money too!!!

I love her!!!

Just look at this guy. His wife told me he is scary looking. I say that if the butcher still has this beard by the time of the contest, we gang up on him and give him a good old shave. I bet his wife would thanks us a lot for that. What do you guys think ??? I say lets shave the man to help his wife out. LOL

There are a couple reasons for that beard, and one of them is to protect children from a horrifying site.
