As a club member, I want to personally thank each of you guys for attending and flying this event. As you can imagine, it was very difficult last Thursday to deal with the realities of life, much less think about picking up and going forward with the complexities of this event. Thank you Chris for deciding to go forward. For me and many others in the club, being able to host this event and do what little we could to make it memorable and enjoyable for you guys was the best therapy I could have ever hoped for. Kurtis, I want to publicly thank you and Bobby Hawthorne for the hard work and help that you put it to make this event a success. Kurtis, your first time as CD was, in my opinion, under extremely difficult conditions and I do not believe a better job could have been accomplished. Thank you. I would also like to thank you for the devotional period Sunday morning. To everyone who attended, thank you for your support and the help you so graciously offered and gave to assist in setting up and keeping things going. As a club, our goal is to continue this event in the future to honor the memory of a dear friend and one of the most passionate RC fliers I have ever known.

Don't feel bad we have all had that 1st time in front of the judges and it will get better just stick with it !

Kurtis waites led it... He did a few readings and then just spoke for a bit...
He did a Perfect job, but I don't think he had a script or anything like that....
