LOL, good one! Tomorrow the awards get ordered based on registered pilots to date. So far no Unlimited, one Advanced and two in Intermediate, along with enough Sportsman and Basic pilots to round it out. I have not been contacted by any other upper level pilots indicating possibly making this contest. So, if someone in the upper classes shows up, you will earn your points and you will get an award, but I will have to mail it to you later. Please don't let that deter you from flying with us. I completely understand having to wait until the very last moment to make a gig. A big thank you to all that are planning to make it to our 4th Annual IMAC Challenge. I have requested that we will have our Pilot Meeting a little earlier than is on the IMAC web site to 8:30AM with wheels up by or before 9AM. This will still give anyone wishing or needing to make a few trim passes plenty of time. We will be allowed to start flying by 7:30am. We are going to have a good time! Noon time Freestyle practice session while we break for lunch. Onsite grill for hamburgers/hot dogs and drinks will be available during the day. Lunch for the pilots will be provided. I'm thinking steak and potatoes with corn on the cob. Camping at the field is encouraged, but there are no facilities. Arrive as early as you want, let me know if earlier than Friday, Or just call when you get in town so I can get the gate opened. See you at the field |

Don't think I will be doing a freestyle this time. I have been trying to get my thrid IMAC plane of the season dialed in, so there is little time to mess around. But then again... If I can find a way to bring an extra one, I might.

So Nate....is the new plane going to be ready next weekend at Clover Creek? We were talking about you yesterday wondering if you had the big plane dialed in

Got it dialed in with a Mej 28x12 3 Blade and No limitz spinner. It was flying awesome so something just had to go wrong. The spinner and prop had a disagreement and killed each other. I have a Mej 30x13 2 Blade on order. If it gets here by wednesday, and if I can get it drilled and fly on Thursday, I'll be there. Otherwise, no Clover Creek for me.

Well, I want to have a few flights with the new prop to see if I need to change anything. Also, I have a family reunion that I should go to that weekend, so if the plane is not up to par I really should go to that. Regardless I should make it to the P-cola contest. well guys, I just might be bringing my 40%er to the meet. today, we ditched the spektrum system altogether, and bought a used JR 10X 72 mhz radio off a fellow club member. also, I have about 3 AR7000 rx's to get rid of, so tell me if someone's interested, and i'll bring them out.

Why not get a little extra insurance for that big bird and get the 2.4 module for the 10x. Lots of IMAC guys flying 10x and module. | ||||||||||||||||||
