| Embry-Riddle R/C Flight Team    |  Daytona Beach Fall IMAC September 12-13
The 2009 Daytona Beach Fall IMAC will be on September 12-13 at the Daytona Beach R/C Club located in Port Orange, FL. I will have more information posted hopefully tomorrow. I am trying to work a Grand Champion Prize for this contest. I have seen a couple of CDs do this and I might give it a try to try to encourage people to compete in Freestyle. Will have a nice trophy and prize for the Grand Champion. Will post details and rules on how the grand champion will be awarded later. http://www.flyinggriffins.org/dayimac.html

I'll bring Johnny, Kenny and John from the GMA club now that I have a Date for the event. Woody, Don't run out of Altitude, AirSpeed, and Ideas all at the Same Time, your plane will return to its beginning form, A KIT. |

this will be a Good one as long as there is NO hurricane ............... if there is we will have to fly IMAC with the little ParkZone Sukhoi's in Lou's Hanger ....

Well, i guess I will be the first..... Now that this event is in the bag....I had a wonderful time. As a newbie, i didn't know what to expect but it was great. not the biggest event but a good turnout. Flew in the Basic for the first time and everyone was so helpful. Thanks guys, it was really a joy to see the comaradarie amongts everybody. did i say everyone was helpful. This was just one bunch of great guys all enjoying the hobby/sport. A special thanks to Kevin Wilson, my mentor and coach, and Dowd who from jacksonville help me keep my nerves together by calling for me. Another special Thanks to Luis, really enjoyed spending time with you and your family. Kevin Garland. Great one man. See all you guys at the next one. Had a wonderful time......OH yeah and I didn't come in last place after all that flying ....... I did get beat by all the kids though. hahahahahaha
