Default New Extreme Flight RC Vanquish F3A

Hey fellows, just wanted to let you guys know that we are about to release a new electric pattern aircraft, the Vanquish F3A. It has a 48 inch wingspan and is 52.5 inches long. We are powering this plane with our Torque 2814/820 outrunner and Airboss Elite 45 Amp ESC and a 4S 2170 mah battery, drawing 38 Amps and producing in excess of 500 watts. Flying weight is 43-46 oz. depending on battery used. This would make a great entry level pattern plane and a great practice plane for the guys in the higher classes.
Shipment is leaving China on February 10th and should be here in the States mid March.
Please visit our website at www.extremeflightrc.com for more information.
Here's to straight lines, consistent radii, and perfect geometry!

Man, you guys got it going on... I assume it will be a package deal since it uses that awesome line up of Torque motors and the airboss esc? Nice.... very nice.

I'm excited about this.

There is a certain feeling you get with a well trimmed pattern plane,
when you pull back the elevator and get a nice smooth loop.
(And I'm coming from minimal pattern experience, but from what I've flown.. that feeling is sweet)

I am really looking forward to this plane.

I was going to hold off on any ne electrics for a while..
BUT NOW.....

man you manufacturers are killing me.

If it flys anything like the Astin Martin Vanquish it's a winner.

looks like a great plane! I love pattern planes, and I love every plane that I have had that has been designed by Chris. I have had a few. If this one holds true to EF form it will be a winner.

Chris will it fly the F07 pattern on the recomended power package? Multiple snaps on up lines take a lot of power!

CUTE! would like to see airfoiled stabs on it, though. Looks like it has about 400 squares? Should be a good wingloading for pattern - got my eye on this "improvement on the Brio", LOL!

The recommended power set-up provides over 500 watts which is very close to 200 Watts per pound. I spent several days flying with a member of the Russian F3A team on my last visit to China and he put the Vanquish through this sequence repeatedly. He just couldn't get enough of this plane and I ended up giving it to him.
Bodywerks, in this size plane the difference in performance between a flat and airfoiled tail surface is negligible. Don't worry, the 2 meter version will have an airfoiled stab.
