Cry us a river. Everyone knows each other some how on FG. Thats what makes it such a great site. Trolls are not our friends. If you just tell everyone your name maybe they will lighten up.

Back to the subject I know something like 10 guys that have a legit shot at the Team this week. The nats is going to have fire trails in the skys from all the burner flights. I'm glad to not be judging! Best of luck to all the guys trying to make it.

I am sure I have missed it somewhere on here but what is the deal with QQ's pattern plane "Euphoria"? I have not seen this one around and was wondering if this is a new bird and who makes it?

Jeremy,

It's a new airplane, made by Oxai. I got to see it fly quite a bit at the Nats and I kinda like it.

As for two wings and messing around with putting it together. Until you see how easy it goes together, I would say it takes maybe one minute longer than a mono plane. It uses something like music wire thru the cabines and the top wing just plugs in. Very secure and amazinly simple and light.

Interesting,

I'm a huge fan of Bipes, expecially if it doesn't take 16 screws to put one together.

But how to adjust the incidence of the top wing? Maybe it isn't necessary, but for finetuning it could be useful...

ok, anybody interested in a build thread on the Black Magic VF3? It's a wood/foam/composite pattern plane, with all the trimmings. Lots of details and pics. I'm doing one eslewhere on the electric version, I could do one here just as easily on both. It would be pretty big, but the information would be pretty substantial to builders.

Just a thought. If there's any interest I'll do it.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!

Mike,

I've seen your build techniques, very straight forward and functional now matter what the airframe, this thread would be benificial to anyone building any kit. For those that would be building a V3, this thread would be invaluable!

That being said, I sure wish the one you build was mine

Git 'er Dun!!!
