Or as Bogan Sez
Pattern makes you good and Imac makes you famous.
I covered a couple of event last year, the plan is to do it again this year, only in a different district.

District 6 better watch out...I still haven't learned to land in a 20 mph crosswind

Watch out for D4 coverage from me this year.

I just hope I can fill Ken's shoes with all the great coverage he did last year.

If you want D4 covererage, go to www.nsrcad4.com. That is my website. If anybody has any D4 information they would like to have put on the site, send it to me. I go to every event, so coverage is never lacking.

Hi Mike, is there any way you could bring the D4 coverage back here to the FG Pattern area for wider exposure? I know a bunch of people would love to learn more about this stuff. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thanks guys!!

Sure thing Max. Just let me know how to get it to you. Would you be able to just strip it from my site? I can give you the passwords to the server if need be. I trust ya.

I've got another question.....is there any particular reason there are no pattern aircraft with sfg's or that are profiles. The only thing as far as a pattern aircraft that is outside of the norm is the chip hyde biplane.

SFG's... well there aren't any knife edge loops in any of the patterns. There are spins, which I understand that this will not let the planes spin really well.

These are pretty much designed to be the ultimate in precision aerobatics... so airflow over the plane should be as fluid as possible. The only advantage for a biplane is the increased drag will help keep the plane at a consistent speed. Generally, they also have some coupling issues.
