A weekend in beautiful South El Monte, California flying toy airplane sandwiched between the freeway and a shooting range, what could be better?? I'll be there with bells on!! BTW - for the life of me I have no idea why everyone thinks this field is in Whittier. It is not. It is in the Whittier Narrows Regional Park, but the city of Whittier is a few miles to the southeast of the field.

Try this: 1367 Rosemead Blvd. South El Monte, CA That is the entrance to the gate. Show your AMA card to get in for free. Turn left after going into the park and follow the main road. It makes a big CCW circle. When you get to the field it will be on your left.
