NEWS FLASH – Knoxville TN... AMA Pattern contest at House Mountain site is August 29th & 30th 2009! This is a very pattern friendly site and a great view in the mountains of east Tennessee, come on out and enjoy the Post Nats competition and meet old and new friends. All AMA classes to be flown & FAI. House Mountain Pattern Classic August 29 & 30, 2009, Knoxville, TN New Venue, Wide Open Spaces!! All AMA Classes & FAI schedule Contestant Judging Lunch available on-site Saturday Directions and motel information are on page 2 Directions to Field: Take the East Town Mall (Washington Pike) exit 8 off Interstate 640 (map below). Stay on Washington Pike for ~8 miles, past the intersection with Roberts Road (House Mountain convenience mart on the right). You’re now less than a mile from the turn-in to the field, which will be on your left just past a horse stable/farm on the right. The satellite view, second below, shows Roberts Road, the horse farm and the flying site.
