Default Gazaur "Mars/Poseidon"

I see that Hobby-Lobby.com has two new helis up for grabs - The Gazaur "Mars" and "Poseidon". They list it as a 480 sized heli, here are the specs from the website:

29-7/8" main rotor diameter, 28-3/4" overall length, 9-1/16" high, 27-1/2 oz. flying weight. Speed 480-class helicopter with eCCPM (electrical cyclic collective pitch mixing) for precise control. Kit has a rigid and lightweight SSG fiberglass frame, CNC metal and precision molded plastic parts. Mars has a 41-tooth tail drive gear for aggressive 3D flying. Superior design is the key to Gazaur helicopters. They have fewer parts, are lighter weight, and have a unique "floating flybar" head for more linear movement that improves flight stability for greater precision. Dual ball bearing main mast supports high loads from the main shaft at high rotor speeds. The 120-degree eCCPM servo control base gives direct and precise linear control with spot-on phasing for the demanding 3D pilot. Main rotor blades are made of wood covered in white heat shrink film. Canopy is white plastic (custom paint it to suit your taste) and comes with decals. Step-by-step assembly manual has exploded parts diagrams and detail pictures. All parts are clearly labeled and separately bagged for each assembly step. Flight time exceeds 7 minutes.

They certainly look cool with all that carbon fiber everywhere, even the skids are CF! The "floating flybar" looks interesting, this heli is definately something I would like to get a closer look at.

Yeah , I thought the same. I saw them in a magazine a few weeks back. I'm not even a heli guy but these are tight looking rigs for sure. Hmmmm

But hooly Dooley they cost near on as much as a 600E TREX. They must be something super darn good for that sort of cash unless I'm missing something of course.

I dont care what it looks like.

-floating flybar
-NO tail gear!
-protected gyro
-simple CCPM arrangement (finally easy to replace stripped servos!!!)
-Less "not quite the right size" screws to strip after you rebuild it 4 times

They fixed everything I complain about on a Trex. SOLD

Hey! u just proved that u aint got enuff creative juice flowing. perhaps when you see the Alien Head design (from the movie: Alien), then prolly u'll think it's beautiful.

As for the landing gear, they look like Tyranosaurus claws emitting a primitive yet powerful feel to it.

I think it's one of the best heli out there except for the battery Mah. Need to get something higher for more flight time.

I've seen the pro pilot doing acrobatic 3Ds and this heli's response is like extraordinarily superb.

At least it is comparable to quickworldwide helis and the price is awesome!
