Help! Heli Tools?

I really want to get a Thunder Tiger Mini Titan, but I don't know if I could build it or if I need to get the ARF version. I know just a few things about these machines, but I'd really like to learn how to fly one.

So, my question to you is, what else would I need to build and maintain a helicopter?

I have loctite and can get more lol, but I just don't know what else is needed tool wise.

Default Re: Heli Tools?

Hi,

Here are my 2 cents. First, it is easier to build a heli than a plane. In fact, you do not build a heli, you assemble it. It is more like a lego set. No gluing, alingment issue CG problems (usualy). Be realy carefull when doing links, the manual gives you approxiate dimentions taht will require twiking on your part.

If you have build planes before you have almost everything. Here is the strict minimum.

Good set of HEX tools, machined not forged http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...rod_id=TTT1103
Ball link plier http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...od_id=HMXR4858
blade balancer http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...od_id=AGNH1004
Digital caliper (any make will do, arround 17$) http://www.deeteeenterprises.com/pro...1&cat=0&page=1
