Default T rex trouble

hi guys, Today my dad and me tried to maiden a t-rex 450 xl.....we have:

Align motor 430
Align seed control 35 amp
Logitech 2100t gyro
and electron 6 receiver

the thing is that we can not get the gyro to work well, when tail lock is on....the rudder just keep on going to the right all the time, and the heli just spins to the right and its very difficult to control and the gyro is not responding to the movement of the tail as its supposed to....and also we had a little bit of trouble seting up the receiver type....wich I thought was weird, so maybe the electron 6 is not compatible with the ligictech gyro, am I right??

I hope you can help me...I tried to fix it and couldnīt, so if any one of you knows if they are compatible or not...or explain me how to set up he gyro would be really great!!

Thanks!!

check a couple of things here...

first make sure the tail blades are on the right way. tail turns ccw, and leading edge of the lead blade comes up from the bottom.

second, make sure your rudder direction is correct. Take a tail blade and put it 90 degrees to the grip. Get that blade to its paralell to the boom facing backwards. Whichever stick movement you put in the blade should correspond in the same direction.

third, make sure the gyro is in working in the right direction. Take the nose with the grip, and blade in the same position as before. Twist the heli along its main shaft, and the tail should point in the opposite of the nose movement. It could be simple case of servo reversing.

fourth, make sure the gyro centers out on initiation. dont move the heli when you power up. Also make sure your mechanical gain is neutral, IE when you enter into non-heading hold mode your heli shouldnt want to piro at all. SHould be neutral in whatever mode your in.

fifth, check your gain. If it piros too much, your to low, if it is wagging your too high. A fine line to say the least.

I think what your describing is possibly a gain, or direction issue.

This sounds like when I gave my BK500 it's maiden flight. I found that the Rudder control needed to be in the normal mode, and the gyro needed to be in the reverse mode before it would try to control anything.

Then the next step is to get the rudder centered properly. You should be able to trim most of it out, but once you find the trim, set the trim back to zero and manually adjust to where the trim was set.

Toro, I checked all the points you told me and they are ok but one, I tried with low and high gain on the gyro and it keeps doing the same thing, I will check up the centering of the servo and such, the servo does center when you turn on the heli, but I will check again that it is well centered.

But if that is ok, and keeps doing the same what else can i do?

thanks
