Where did you buy your Belt CP and how much was it? I'm looking into getting a electric heli for learning.

www.helidirect.com has good ones, and also www.helihobby.com either is good, the choice is yours.. helidirect shows more parts.. good luck its a great lil chopper for learning, just make sure you check it a few times if you get a arf

What kind of flight times do you get with your Belt (just casual flying not insane 3D)??

using the commen sence rc 3 cell 20c 2100mah i fly for 6-7 minits to be safe i could go longer, and i only hover this battery i had to cut the frame to fit

6-7 minutes doesnt seem right. Just gently flying around I get 12-ish minutes before the power starts to seriously drop off. I do know from my other helis that LiPos really drop off when they start to get tired, or, you discgarge them too much. Maybe the 6-7 mins is with an old pack?

Still, they are so cheap on eBay, I have ceased to worry that much. Just get 15C packs recommended for helis and they just work!

So I am pretty decided on buying a Belt CP as my first heli!! www.helidirect.com is out of stock so I am thinking about buying the RTF kit from www.helihobby.com I was just wondering if they sell all the kits with mode 2 (throttle left stick) transmitters and if that is the only way they sell them? Just curious because I would hate to accidentally order the kit in mode 1 that would suck. Anyone know?

i wouldnt use the stock tx and rx, all the rtf set ups iv seen have been very sloppy,, and makes it harder to laern on.. setting one up on a computer radio to fine tune it to your liking is the way to go..
