wrap it tightly around an antenna tube, making sure to never cross itself and use shrink wrap at either end to hold it.....

better yet, I use a Deans loaded base antenna

Mike,
You can wrap it around the struts but if you crash and break the struts, it will be pulling on the antenna, not good

I have wrapped the antenna around the tailboom supports before, that worked good. As everyone else said, don't cross the wire over itself. As they said in Ghostbusters "Safety note, Don't cross the beams"

Mike,
Make sure every crash is rotorhead first, that way the antenna will always be OK

I've always had problems with my antennas touching any carbon fiber parts, it always caused interference, so i avoid it at all cost, I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but if i were you I wouldnt wrap it around the carbon supports

I'm chiming in a little late here, but I wouldn't recommend wrapping your antenna around any metal or carbon parts. You would be better off putting a whip antenna on it, I've used revolution whip antennas on everything from 90 sized helis to 40 sized airplanes and have never had a problem.
