yes they have to fly, but fly to scale. that is what iam talking about. its not like you ever see a heli doing the things that the rc helis do. i just dont think i would like seeing a scale ship fliping around like its going into some kind of spaz attack. pod and boom its ok. flips, rolls, and inverted flight and death spins and all that stuff is great to watch, and its hard to do, but not for a scale ship. now thats just me. i guess iam just too old. its kinda like seeing a p51 doing harrier flight or trying to hover it.

or a j3 in hover haha, i think for th emost part ill be flying like scale. i want to have a bird thatll flip good, but not the priority. i got the skids off the heli, and test fitting the nose,, man i cant wait to see this thing!, need to get a retract servo then i can start,, look like ill need to move the esc to..

ok mike plenty of pics please man the scale bug will hit hard.hahaha doing scale youll find that a lot of stuff has to be moved around. but its doable

Hey Mike, I just ran across this thread and thought that I'd give you a nudge to get you back on this project. I'm curious to see the outcome and the number of hurdles involved. I've been thinking about putting a scale fuse on my T-Rex later on, when I stop turning helis into hand grenades, LOL.

yea that vids flaoting around here some where. this body is made more for the trex. but it should fit. next tiem i order servos ill have al the stuff needed to make the swap. im focusing on the gasser im fixing to get now. and getting use to a new radio. DX7

No post/updates for over a month, nothing new??? have a belt cp myself and looking at this fuse, would have loved to see some of the problems you run into.

hehe,, sorry.. iv been dealing with getting stuff for other projects going.. unfortuneatly last night my gyro went belly up and i had to slam the chopper in.. busted up a few parts, so im afraid it will be a little longer yet,, tho i did find that the belt its a bit long in the boom for the fuse so some cutting will be required,, also beware that this fuse adds 10+ oz. to the hole thing.. i will update as soon as i can, thanks for the interest.
