Hey there, Just got my RTF HBK2 in the mail, openeded her up and did the basic settup (to the best of my knowlege, which isnt very much...) and after spinning the blade a bit to test it out, i found that the belt for the tail blade had already come off the track and was being pulled under the little roller it should be against, ive put the belt back on the roller and started the blades up 3 times now and everytime it just falls off the track... total noob so i dont know how to pull the thing apart and take a look but if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it i would GREATLY appreciate the help, my msn is ak47z_9mm@hotmail.com or just reply on the thread here, THANK YOU THANK YOU!

It could be your belt not being tight enough. It there is a boom mount with 4 screws in it, you'll need to loosen the screws, and pull the boom so the belt is tight. Do this by holding the main frame, and pulling on the boom. You want it tight enough to have just a hair of flex. Im not familiar with that heli, but 99% of belt drive tails should be able to be tightened like that.

good idea, looks like the boom can unscrew, looks like its too tight tho maybe its rock hard so ill loosen it a bit first and give it a try then try the opposite if that doesnt work. thanks.

i had to do the same with my belt cp,, these thigns say rtf,, but that doesnt mean much, the belt should be only tight enough to where when you push on the belt just behind the wheel near the motor itll go about half way to the other side,, hope that makes sense, pics would help. mike

well, i've found a temporary fix, my belt is going though from the abuse it took in the process lol. I took off the roller that the belt was being sucked under and added another washer to the top as to lower the whole roller down. the belt is staying on fine now but im afraid im going to have to replace the belt, it will hold up fine though until a new one comes in the mail. Once i get the new belt im going to have to pull the whole thing apart and re-do the settup anyways so hopefully ill be able to take the washer out and have the roller in its proper posisiton. anyways thanks for your help guys and if you have any ideas on a better fix for it please let me know, cheers
