Help! Adjustment Help Falcon 3D

Crashed and Burned the falcon day one first attempt to hover 65.00 later I have it back to gether however the unit keeps turning left i have the trim all the way to the right but as I power up it turns more and more even with the stick all the way to the right. I was good at ajusting my blade cx however this is a new ball park for me any help would be appriciated... Thanks Dan

Hi Dan,

Check your tail gear box and make sure that the gears are not slipping, mainly the gear riding the shaft in the bearing housing. If that checks out, look at the gears on the tail drive shaft that meet the main gear and see if you are getting a good mesh and that no gears are missing teeth. If that is ok and the problem still exists, hold the tail boom and move it back and forth. If you don't hear the tail rotor servo working, the gyro is not working properly. Also, check your reversing on the rudder channel..channel 4 in this case. Make sure you have plenty of gain on the gyro. It's usually best to max it out and if the tail wags in a hover, back the gain down until the wagging stops. Typically, the Art-Tech Gyro works fine at max gain, without wag. Hope this helps.

Chris: I maxed out the gain and also moved the servo a little foward on the tail this seemed to help, I got it up and was flying today.... well for a few min untill i tried to land and killed the throttle a little to high its only gona take about $25 to fix it this time...... I think it time to buy a sim any suggestions????? Thanks Dan
