I have had a T-rex 600 for a while now but it seems to not feel as stable / powerful in the air anymore. I have resorted to pitch and throttle curve setpoint from the manual and still it seems a little week. I have toyed with the possibility that my flight power 6s2p 4900 is failing but would like to get some pit/curve data from some aged heli pilots. I do not fly 3d however I have the selector switch armed and capable...just a heli that does not feel crisp enough. |

It could be several things,, I have been banging a TREX 600nitro for a year, but my buddy has a Trex 600 electric,, the symptoms you are talking about could lead to several things,, is it not stable or losing power or both ,, possibilities 1. wore dampners, this would show up in a hover predominiatly,, if it won't "lock in " to a hover any more dampeners could be worn,, 2. If it is lackin power,, you could have a speed controller getting hot or going bad and overheating, causing the power drop, 3.Could be a tooth stripped off of one of the servos,, because of the trex being ccpm controlled the good 2 servos would be compensating and masking a simple tooth missing on the 3rd..

Check your clutch, maybe slipping or your piston ring is damaged. OS is know for this. Clogged fuel line? Air getting in the fuel line... Oh! Sorry you have an electric, none of those things can happen... Lucky you :-) I would disconnect the rods leadings to your servo and move manually the swash. Move it up and down on the main shaft. Mine got tight and drained my battery super fast. I needed to clean the main shaft and change the swash (went with Quick UK).

Thanks for all the tips i will check all suggestions as soon as I can. I have started to discharge the battery down to the min 18v I figured i would go to 18.5 or 19 to play it safe. Should I reset the speed control? could a past crash long ago jumbled it? Thanks Neil |

Oh no...So i watched the finless heli curves instructional.. theres one section where he is talking about throttle curve well he corrects himself when he draws the curve from right to left..it should be up and two the right! my thottle curve is in correct and I am never in the power band of the motor. Hope i didn't damage the motor from the low current.
