ahh the only cure for this is to let the virus that is inflicted progress until you build up enough "heligens" to bring yourself back to mental sanity. It is much like experiencing the tertiary stage of syphillis, with the exception of the itching part. Sorry to say amigo, your hooked.... Welcome to the crack pipe. |

So if thats the case are Giant Scale Planes a "GATEWAY DRUG"? I have been sim=ing it like mad, 1 hour dedicated to planes, and 1 hour on helis or ahemmm "Machines". The heli flying seems to really be helping my 3D plane flying.. this could be good!!

My grandma bought me one and the only way I could keep from getting one for my house was to not think about them for a couple weeks. but now that you personally own one I truely think you are screwed. ( unless you get a big pay check and can afford both!)

FREAKING SWEET!!! The receiver that came with the Falcon was in Futaba Shift.. I slapped the channel number into my 12Z and BAMMO it was working! ![]() ![]() ...I replaced the rudder servo in this puppy with a Hitec 81.. its .09 sec on the speed and has 40 oz of torque... so the tail response should be better than the china servo that was in it. Trying to figure out heli programming, but taking my time.... Still pumped that adapting this to my 12Z was that easy!

SleepyC: I don't know what stage of infection you are at but you bit the bad one dude. Once you can do forward, backward, inv forward, inv backward, you will truely rule the 3D world. Then you will want more and more and more and more power. You will build a special shelf only for the helis. Then the price of your machine will go from $300 for that falcon to $3000/per for MA Stratus. Then you will want a 2nd Stratus as a backup. Then you will want a 3rd in a box for quick access to parts while your repair parts are in transit. My wife tells me that she did not realize how slow (not speed) planes were until I started flying helis. Then I realized that planes are very very relaxing, nice stroll of a rolling harrier, lazy inverted harrier, sleepy flat spins..... and hover is well, hover. After a relaxing moment, you thurst for more head spining rush. Unlike planes where you think about your next move while turning around in a pattern, you must think the moves while you are in a hair raising crazy pitch pumping moves. If your brain does not quite decipher the moves by the time the current move is done, well you get a brain fart. Hurry, get out before you get any deeper in it. BTW, this is what you are shooting for at the end. MA Stratus
