Holy crap - I learned on one of those too! I didn't know anyone else flew them lol

They had to be the best blades ever, you could bounce that heli off of the walls and the blades would just spring right back into shape

It can be hard to get some to come out of the closet.

Try challenging their ego's, call them chicken, wuss, etc.

I mainly fly IMAC but once every couple of months I'll drag out my old Ergo 50 type 2 and rip around the sky to let of some steam. I started flying in in 92-93 I think and got my first heli in 99(Ergo 30) and concentrated on it for 2-3 years. Slowly upgraded it to become the 50 type 2 but only fly on the odd occasion. It's so old now most of the bolts are heavily rustedHeli Hovering006.JPG

Used to fly a Raptor 50. Have done 6 loops and 1 roll... That's about it. Now I just do spot landings with a BCP in the house. Keeps me happy when I can't get to the field to fly something I can handle.

I am fairly new to this hobby and started with airplanes and have 2 foamies 2 glows and a 27% H9 extra 260 DA powered gasser now and for some reason I bought a Trex 450se and basically flew the sim for a week and started flying the thing but mostly it is for something to fly in my driveway, and I still just fly tail in and drive around in front of my house ......But I do have one also....
