JeeUm, I'm thinking of taking the plung. I have a couple electric helicopters. But I'm thinking about getting into a glow copter. Any ideas for a guy with a budget. At first I was thinking a .30 size. But I would most likely rather be in a .50 class. Can you give me any good info? I have a JR 8103 Radio. Thanks |

look into the evo 50, the same one JeeUm fkies in the video solid heli and a really good flyer. I am not recommending it just too let you know the evo 30 is same bird as the 50. so you could go 30 then upgrade it is quite exspenseive to upgrade and not really worth once you have the 30.... I would go straight to the 50 size. I had the 30(with an os 37 in it) and wished i went 50 straight away. Like i said not recomending it just letting you know the options.... Rodney |

Again, I can't take credit for the flying, that was my brother. I do agree though about the Evo line. The .50 he's flying in that video is the one I sold him and it made him a convert. The Evo .50 straight outta the box can 3D with zero upgrades, yet still makes a great training heli. All depends on what setup you use.

Do you guys fly backwards or inverted backwards? I've laid off the 3d flying and really pushed myself to learn all orintations or flying. really helped me with aerobatic auto's. |

I too have learned, and am learning "ALL"orientations.... one of my favorite things to do right now is from the ground stand it up on its tail, and go full negative to pirouetting forward flight right to a hurricane !!! Still working on the backwards upside down, can do it well, but I want to be unconscious about it. Chaos' still getting comfortable with them, working on keeping it in one spot (very tough) I just finished my TITAN after I totalled my last... will be back gettin' nuts with it this weekend probably... | ||||||||||||||||||

Video came out sweet jim. I'm not good enough to do backwards or inverted tail in in 20mph wind, I'm comfy with foward inverted, but shakey with the rest. You guys should have seen how fast that heli was moving down wind. Freaking missle!
