Hi everybody, My name is Norbert and it seems that I am the first frenchie on this site. I am very happy to post here. I know this forum thanks to Matt Botos. I enjoy it. I fly synergy and I am sponsored by CSM. I fly 3D in sportsman level. But I fly lots of Big Scale heli like COBRA 2m rotor (looks like the first one created for Vietnam), hughes 500 with 2.20m rotor diameter: heigt 85 cm! and I work on new heli. I like coposit materials, I build my blades since 5 years like many other fiber parts like fuselage (planes and heli..). I work for French civil aviation but I am thinking about to open my job : fiber speciality. At the moment I enjoy 3D and work a lot to be an entrant in 3DM07. I was at 3DM06 as a caller, it's a very fun event. Thanks to accept me in your community. Regards - Norbert |

Well I just joined here in California. Not French, but my wife is from France, and all my children speak French fluently. My interest is the grandsons who are very interested in a Bud Nosen 1/4 scale Piper Cub that my son and I started 20 years ago and only got the fusealage framed. Now we are looking for instructions, as we only have blueprints. Thought it would be good to join here to learn and contribute where we can. Bill T.

Hi, You can find some photos here: http://www.helicrazy.com/cugeslespins2006/index.htm It's our cobra in action during one of the biggest scale events in France called "Cuges les pins" in frech riviera. You can see all the photos and our cobra gallery begins with picture named '9867' to 9878 and 'XH5O6040' to 'XH5O6047' for pit photo. My father have the canopy in his hand and I have the radio on the first picture of us. For some photos very realist in action, I will try to put it in my gallery. Regards PS: I am in my office and haven't lots of photos I will try to put some of hughes and my synergy too. |

Norbert, Wow! You guys are really into it! I don't know much about this hobby and need to get up to speed. I will ask a friend who is coming over tonight about your big copter there. Perhaps we can go and see some fly here. Bill |
